I love these artists and bands -they have touched my heart, my soul and my brain, challenged me, made me shake my head, jump up and down, dance, cry and smile, make love, get out of myself and think about life and the world in a completely new way.

Any of your favourites here? Share experiences and feelings of how these artists have moved you, shaped your life and taken you to higher ground!

Dude - I love this list. Bowie from the Berlin era, Neil Young definitely, Led Zep are the bomb, Lennon rules, like the Beatles, Dylan’s Blonde On Blonde is one of my all time faves. Radiohead I adore, and PJ Harvey. Used to play Deja Vu by CSN & Y on repeat, Hendrix, expecially the first album. Early Roxy and Brian Eno (Here Come The Warm Jets) glam weirdness!

As for modern, heavy rock and roll, great to see Queens Of The Stone Age in there. What about Tool and the Mars Volta?

Keep rocking JG!
